HUGS911 SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the user (“User,” “Customer,” “You”) and HUGS911, Homeowners Utility Guide Service (“HUGS911,” “We,” “Us,” “Our”), a documentation service that provides tutorials and storage of residential emergency information, collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

  1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

HUGS911 provides the following services:

Tutorials educating Users on residential utility systems (water, gas, electric) and how to safely shut them off.

Digital documentation tools to input and store data related to:

Utility shut-off locations

Resident names and emergency contact details

Medical conditions, allergies, and disabilities

Pets and their names

A mobile app to visually map utility shut-off points using drag-and-drop icons.

Secure online access for first responders to view provided information by searching the property address.

  1. USER RESPONSIBILITY

The User acknowledges and agrees that:

All information input into the HUGS911 system is provided solely by the User.

The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the information is the User’s sole responsibility.

HUGS911 does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of any information submitted.

The system is a tool to support emergency planning and is not a substitute for professional or legal advice.

  1. DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY

HUGS911 will take reasonable measures to safeguard stored information from unauthorized access, breaches, or hacking, using current internet security standards and encryption methods.

However, no system is entirely immune from potential security risks. HUGS911 cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. LIMITED LIABILITY

HUGS911 is not liable for:

Any inaccuracies in User-provided information

Any damages, losses, or incidents resulting from reliance on stored information

The inability of first responders or emergency personnel to access or interpret the data during an incident

Any third-party access due to User negligence or data breaches outside HUGS911’s control

  1. TERMINATION

Users may cancel their HUGS911 account at any time. Upon cancellation, all stored data will be removed from HUGS911’s servers within a reasonable period.

HUGS911 reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement or are suspected of misuse or illegal activity.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All HUGS911 materials, including tutorials, branding, and app functionality, remain the sole intellectual property of HUGS911. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written consent.

  1. MODIFICATIONS TO AGREEMENT

HUGS911 reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which HUGS911 is registered.
